The purpose of the GSTAC is to serve as the catalyst necessary to define the Greater San Tan Area, unite and empower the citizens of that defined area and to afford those united citizens an opportunity for creating a future of their own design.
To accomplish this purpose the GSTAC will facilitate an envisioning process that will result in a sub-area plan consistent with a clear and commonly shared Greater San Tan Area vision. Further, the GSTAC will structure an appropriate review and oversight strategy to insure the Greater San Tan Area an enduring voice that is strong, and focused on implementing and protecting that long term vision. It is the intent of the GSTAC that what is implemented as a result of these strategies will endure as the voice of the Greater San Tan Area and be respected and supported as such by Pinal County and adjoining municipalities.
