The Greater San Tan Area Coalition (GSTAC) intends to remain viable and intact regardless of other actions that may change the governance in whole or in part of the “San Tan Area”.
GSTAC intends to not have political affiliation, will not represent any special interest(s) and is a not-for-profit organization.
As a Review and Oversight Committee, the GSTAC expects to provide information, education and community position (voice) representing the “Greater San Tan Area” regarding issues affecting quality of life and community & economic development.
GSTAC will receive its power and authority from the residents of the San Tan Area it serves as well as acceptance by the surrounding municipalities and the Pinal County Government.
GSTAC is not intended to preclude any other opportunities for future governance such as incorporation, annexation or other creative possibilities.
GSTAC will support a representative process to identify and select members of the Review and Oversight Committee and other committees.
GSTAC will only advocate and support programs/processes/positions that are fair and supported by the entire Greater San Tan Area.
GSTAC will strive to maintain a cross-section of the Greater San Tan Area in organization, committee representation and leadership.
Neighborhoods, subdivisions, or developments within the district structure of GSTAC may opt out of GSTAC at the will of the residents of those entities.
