Good evening, I wanted to send out another update to the current NAME CHANGE ISSUE affecting the Greater San Tan Area. This email will include as many details as possible for what will occur over the next 5 days. Any questions, please feel free to email me directly and I will do my best to respond.
First of all let me mention that I had asked for all residents of the Greater San Tan Area, to help forward these requests out to others they know in the community. Thank you to all of you that have done so. Remember this isn't about whether or not you are for or against this particular issue - this is about as many people as possible having the opportunity to voice their opinion and be heard. Also keep in mind that the entire San Tan Area includes all of the housing developments east of Hunt Hwy as well. (At the bottom of this email you will find a list of developments that are part of the current Greater San Tan Area.)
I would to continue to ask people to help get the word out and begin to form a committee of these individuals. Preferably I would like to have at least one person from each area involved so that we are sure that as many people as possible can participate from the entire San Tan Area. Again, it does not matter if you are for or against a name change or a certain name - this is strictly about getting the word out that a vote is happening on this issue so all who wish to participate may.
I will do my best to have online voting available as of Friday afternoon or by the latest Saturday morning and will send out the website as soon as I can.
We had tried to get permission to have tables out at the Walmart on Gary Rd, the Fry’s on Hunt Hwy and the Fry's off of Combs Rd, this Saturday. We were turned down. We also tried Wells Fargo and M&I Bank and were again turned down. I will still be looking for a place to see if we can setup tables however we are running out of places. I will keep you posted. If anyone has any connections and can find us locations to setup, preferably in high traffic areas so that we can reach as many people as possible, that would be great! I would like there to be tables setup to allow any resident of the Greater San Tan Area to submit their vote from 9am - 12pm this Saturday. Once this is setup, I will be looking for volunteers from this area, to help man those tables and collect the ballots. Please reply to me at

There will be a community meeting held, Monday, June 22nd at 6:30pm, at Circle Cross Ranch Elementary School, located at 35900 N. Charbray Drive in the Circle Cross Ranch Housing Community.

From Hunt Highway: Turn East on Bella Vista, go to light and turn North on Gantzel.
Follow to Circle Cross Development and turn left into development.
Turn right on Charbray and follow to school.
We will have access to the school from 6:30pm - 9pm on the 22nd of June. An agenda for the meeting will be sent out in the next email, however at the meeting, residents will be given the opportunity to place their vote.
Votes will be counted and a final result will be posted on the same website that the online voting will be available, as soon as the numbers are known with a hope the results will be counted by Tuesday/Wednesday.
Please reply to this email if you will be attending the June 22nd event as I am working with the school to be sure the room we setup in is adequate for our anticipated turnout.
